When the Administrator process starts, the Model is iconized.

The process that has started now (with the Model Administrator as executing actor), has nothing to do. So the first task to perform is Waiting for a Next Task to Come (Next Task Control).

Because we want to define all interfaces we need, we must let the Model Administrator do so..... So let's push the action button New Interface to start that task.

Meanwhile, don't bother the other buttons for the moment.

Well, here we are....

First we have to choose a resource, for which we have to define an interface. The resources can be employees, engines, computers, and so on. They can act as resource within the organization to be modelled, and as a resource they can serve as the executing or responsible actor for the process.

So let's push the Resources action button to open the ‘Collection of Resources’ object on our desktop.

The object shows itself in a standard way in Proto-6. Don't bother, because you can easily design other looks and feels.

You can scroll through a list of resources and click on the one you want for the process. When clicking you'll see the resource's details.

When you've clicked one, you can push the Create action button to create a process for the active resource (the clicked one) and to let that resource act as the executing actor of that process.

The newly created process can be seen by its interface, which shows the first task to perform, that is, it's waiting for a next task to come (Next Task Control).

The same way we can make some other processes with their corresponding interface. Nothing special about that.

That is, they don't exactly look the same!
This is because every resource can have its own preferences for the look and feel of its interface.

Only the interfaces are designed differently, the task's functionality is exactly the same.

Finally we have defined all interfaces for the Model. They can be iconized as far as needed.

When we don't need the Model Administrator anymore, we can close that process' interface and kill the process. Then it will no more be there, but we can always create it anew by opening the Model icon.
