Now let's use the previous knowledge to look at a simple Mailer.
The Mailer is modelled as a one task workorder type. When we want to send a message to someone, we simply make a new Mailer workorder. The message we want to send will be contained in this workorder's file, the workorder is passed from one person to the other.
Now we start the Workorder Scheduler by clicking Work Orders and then choose the Mailer from the workorder types, and add it at the first place in our workorder queue.

Now we can stop the Workorder Scheduler by clicking the Stop button.

When we click Next we get the first workorder waiting in our workorder queue. This should be the Mailer......

Martha is the person who wants to mail to Theo. She can click on New Message to open a new message object, and click on Address Book to open the persons collection object.

The message is typed and Change is clicked to put the message text in the message object.
The person who we want the message to be sent to is activated.
The person who we want the message to be sent to is activated.
Now we can close the object windows (Close button) to obtain a clean desktop. This is not important for the task's functionality.
The Send action button is clicked to place a new workorder containing the message in the adressee's mail queue, which is not the 'normal' workorder queue.
Because Martha sends him a message, Theo's there's-mail event occurs (green to red light in the mail part of the desktop).
When Theo now pushes the In-Box button, he can see an overview of his mail queue.

As one can see, Theo's Choose Next Task does not have a standard Next Task Control interface. There is no separate mail queue object window, but the mail queue is integrated in the desktop interface as a list, which is always shown.

When Theo wants to read his mail immediately, he can click the Read button. This will bring his current task to swap to the first Mailer workorder in his mail queue, which contains the message sent to him.
When he now performs the Open Message action, the message object is shown in a text window.

The message is now an object on Theo's desktop, and he can use this object to create a new message, for instance his answer to Martha.
