This section describes a few samples of Business Aspect Servers. They are the “stable” part of the IMA concept.
Some of the examples are from the Proto-5, others from the Proto-6 version of the old model. In the documentation section, all recent Business Aspect Servers will be detailed.

Stock Control Services

Resource Control Services
Resource Control looks to Business Objects from the aspect of their usage as "resource" in the model. An obligatory resource is that of the "actor" responsible for the performance of a task. Any properties and preferences of a resource are defined here.
This is both a context defining type of aspect and an object defining type of aspect (i.e. all types of real resources - persons, computers, engines, whatever - are maintained by this Aspect Server).

Scheduler Control looks to Business Objects from the aspect of them being scheduled in one or more "queues" of one type or the other. Within this aspect, all types of queues can be defined, maintained and used.
