Resources are always used by an IMA Model. Processes can only be working processes when they consist of activated engines performing tasks by an executing resource.
Resource Control defines the ‘resource role’ for all types of actors within the model. For the time being, these actors themselves are also controlled by the Resource Control Services. This aspect isn't yet separated from Resource Control, but might be so in the near future.
Resources can be defined and changed by means of Resource Control Services.
Also, task preferences (preferred interface, location of this on the screen, planned: user views per interface object) can be defined for every task that a resource as responsible process executer can perform.

The resource object model contains all resource roles for any actor. For the time being also the actors are included as objects to control.
Per resource task, all applicable preferences are related to a resource.
