The Selling Process
services as used by the client process Selling
Products are being sold on the basis of a product assortment related to the Product Market Mix of the market segment to which the customer belongs.
That is, as long as there are enough products on hand. Furthermore, selling is settled according to the applicable selling agreement.
object view for de client process Selling The Selling Process has a certain view on all related (business) objects. This view is a kind of model through which the process is 'looking' to these objects. It is a kind of user model relevant to the Selling Process.
Using this view, the process is looking for customers to find the applicable Product Market Mix. With this PMM available, the right product assortment is determined. This assortment is on the basis of the selling agreement.
The provision of the information needed, and the administration of the agreement, are services supplied by the relevant servers, that are used in the context of the processes' view. But even the provision to the process of the view itself is a service, that is, of a view-providing server.
Processes and Workflow
services as used for the client process Process 2
Tasks are executed by employees and engines (such as computers), in their role as process executors. They are authorised to do so in accordance to their user type.
Tasks are being executed on behalf of work orders that can be scheduled for execution in one way or the other. At any time, work orders can be delegated from one employee to another, or to an engine or computer.
Any process does not only have a view on the primary (business) objects that are related to the aims of that process. Also all process organisation related objects, the production means in use, and control related objects, are viewed by the process in a process-typical manner. Therefore, a user model of a fully organised process includes much more than only those primary objects.
object view for the client process Process X A work order consists of one or more tasks. Also all kinds of objects can be delegated from one task to the other, and from one process executor to the other, using the order as a kind of file.
Orders can be scheduled in a queue for further execution by anyone. Orders can be queued on a time order basis, as first-in first-out, based on priority, and so on.
Any task can be performed in a way that is permitted (and reasonable) for that task and the user type of the executor. The executor can do so according to his own preferences.
An executor can be an employee or an engine (maybe a computer, and so on). A user type is related to all resources, both employees and engines/computers.
